About Dalisay Singh
Dalisay Singh is a Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in internal medicine taking care of patients with various acute and chronic illnesses and conditions. She had also worked in cardiology, responsible for administering stress test which included regular stress test and chemical/pharmacological stress testing.
She had been trained in diabetes management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, intensive insulin management including women with gestational diabetes , managing patients on insulin pumps, and application and interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring . She is also trained in providing women's health care needs; as well as various office procedures which includes joint injections , incision and drainage , suturing, skin tag removal.
Prior to being a nurse practitioner, she had 10 years of nursing experience working in a Massachusetts hospital's intensive care and cardiac care units, serving as a staff nurse and charge nurse for several years .
She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center; and a certified DOT examiner.
Ms. Singh obtained her Master's Degree in Nursing , Primary care Concentration/Family Nurse Practitioner, with honors, at the University of Massachusetts , in Amherst , Massachusetts. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the Elm's College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Attended Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts and completed an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Prior to relocating to New England, she finished a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines.
Dalisay and her family lived in Holyoke, Massachusetts for 30 years, then moved to Florida in 2015. She and her husband, who is also a registered nurse, have 2 grown children. She likes to garden, doing crafts such as jewelry making and crocheting. She is an avid traveler, had travelled in Europe and other parts of the world extensively.
